Instrumental rockers TAUK have a busy schedule for early 2017 as they’ve just detailed dozens of headlining dates throughout North America. The Oyster Bay, New York quartet will also play a festival, co-headline a show with Papadosio and open for Galactic, Lettuce, Railroad Earth and STS9.
It all starts with a Phish after party in which TAUK will support Galactic at NYC’s PlayStation Theater on December 29. Then, TAUK opens for Lettuce at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine on December 30 and Boston’s House Of Blues on New Year’s Eve before teaming with the funk act at Philadelphia’s TLA on January 5 and the famed 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. on January 6 and 7. From there, the quartet plays headlining shows in Providence, Northampton and Rochester ahead of a spot supporting Railroad Earth at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on February 4.
TAUK returns to the road at the Blind Tiger in Greensboro on February 28 and has a slot of Okeechobee Festival in Florida early in March. A headlining run will then bring the group to Charlotte, Birmingham, St. Louis, Madison, Minneapolis, Chicago, Columbia, Lincoln, Fort Collins, Denver, Durango, Jackson, Bozeman, Salt Lake City, Park City, Crystal Bay and San Francisco. April begins with TAUK opening for STS9 at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas on the 1st and also includes visits to Tulsa, Fayetteville, Memphis, Nashville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Lexington, Covington, Indianapolis, Columbus and Cleveland before the group ends the tour with home state shows in Buffalo and Ithaca.
Tickets go on sale today for all shows except the March 17th Denver show, which will go on sale this Monday, December 19 at 12 p.m. ET.
