Prog-jammers TAUK will hit the road armed with new material this spring. The band recently announced the Shapeshifter Tour, which spans a few dates in March before kicking off in earnest this April.
TAUK begins the tour with an appearance at The Fillmore supporting ALO in San Francisco on March 17 and then plays Pot Of Gold Fest in Chandler, Arizona on March 18. From there, the band heads to Colorado for a pair of shows in Fort Collins and Denver on April 6 and 7 respectively. Next up is a series of Midwest dates that includes stops in Iowa City, Lawrence, Minneapolis, Chicago, Grand Rapids, Detroit, Columbus and Nashville.
The instrumental act continues the tour in the south with visits to the Brainquility Fest in Florida and Atlanta’s SweetWater 420 Fest on April 21 and 22 respectively. Concerts in Birmingham, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Charlotte and Virginia Beach come in advance of a Northeast run that is currently slated to end the tour. TAUK’s Northeast run in May features appearances at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. on May 4, Boston’s Brighton Music Hall on May 5, two nights at Brooklyn Bowl in New York City on May 18 and 19 and a return to Boston for Boston Calling.
