Sylvan Esso Drops ‘Hot Slob’ Single & Announces Full-Band Tour Dates For 2026 & 2027

The band’s first single of 2026 arrived on their Psychic Hotline label accompanied by an official music video.

Sylvan Esso rolled out a new single entitled “Hot Slob” along with dates for an extensive full-band tour set to unfold across 2026 and 2027. The electronic-pop duo of Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn will bring the expanded lineup to North American stages in two legs.

Meath and Sanborn recorded “Hot Slob” at their Betty’s studio in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The propulsive track features TJ Maiani(Weyes Blood, Neneh Cherry) on drums as well as Jenn Wasner (Flock of Dimes, Bon Iver) on bass, electric guitar and vocals. “Hot Slob” is out now via Sylvan Esso’s Psychic Hotline imprint, with more new music expected this summer.

The first leg of the full-band tour opens on October 1 in Atlanta and moves up the East Coast and into the Midwest, with stops including Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Boston, Toronto, Milwaukee and Chicago. The run features a pair of multi-night stands in Asheville (North Carolina) and Minneapolis, as well as their three-night Good Moon festival engagement in the band’s home base of Durham (North Carolina), before concluding on October 24.

Sylvan Esso will pick the tour back up on February 19, 2027 in Seattle. From there, the routing heads through Vancouver (British Columbia), two nights in Portland (Oregon), Oakland (California) and Los Angeles before cutting across the Southwest and Texas, with the trek wrapping on March 13 in Nashville.

After presales on Thursday, June 11, tickets go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. local time this Friday, June 12. Scroll below for more tour and ticket information.
