Sylvan Esso Previews ‘Cluster Flies’ On SiriusXM’s Phish Radio

Sylvan Esso’s recording of “Farmhouse” from JamBase’s Phish covers compilation Cluster Flies will premiere on an upcoming episode of Crowd Control on SiriusXM Phish Radio. The episode airs on Tuesday, April 20 at 7 p.m. ET.

Sylvan Esso’s Nick Sanborn selected five favorite live Phish tracks for the 4/20 episode of Crowd Control. Those selections will be revealed alongside the version of “Farmhouse” he created with the other half of Sylvan Esso, vocalist Amelia Meath.

Both Sanborn and Meath talked about participating in Cluster Flies with JamBase’s Andy Kahn for an episode of The JamBase Podcast also set to premiere on Tuesday, April 20. The interview is part of the “Farmhouse” episode of the Cluster Flies series that is currently running daily through the album’s April 30 release.

Presented by JamBase, Cluster Flies is a covers compilation reimagining Phish’s album Farmhouse, complete with bonus songs and revamped tracklist. The limited-edition 3LP release was mastered by engineer Joe Lambert and includes custom artwork and a poster created by longtime Phish collaborator Jim Pollock. A pre-order is underway now through May 3 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern.
