The Sweet Lillies Forecast A New Sound With ‘Weatherman’ Single Featuring Vaylor Trucks
The track marks the Colorado outfit’s first release in two years.

Colorado’s The Sweet Lillies shared their first single since 2024, “Weatherman.” The track heralds a new sound for the band and features guitarist Vaylor Trucks.
Cut at Killion studios in Los Angeles with Sergio Rios (Orgone, Say She She) and in Nederland, Colorado with Grammy Award-winning engineer Andrew Gragg Lunsford (Pat Metheny), The Sweet Lillies’ Becca Bisque spoke on “Weatherman.”
“Weatherman is really about challenging our beliefs in order to have truly authentic interactions with other human beings and the world around us,” she said.
The new track sees The Sweet Lillies – Bisque, bassist Julie Gussaroff, guitarist JJ Murphy and drummer Jones Maynard — joined by guitarist Vaylor Trucks, son of late The Allman Brothers Band drummer Butch Trucks. Stream “Weatherman” below:
