SunSquabi announced a virtual summer event dubbed the Top Down Tour in conjunction with Live From Out There. The Boulder-based band will livestream 12 shows from locales around Colorado including venues, recording studios and their own homes on Thursdays throughout the summer beginning each evening at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT.
The Top Down Tour will also feature fan Q&As, a SunSquabi and Friends set, an all improv set and a request set. Fans can also expect debuts from the band as well as “the best possible visual experience for audiences everywhere,” as per a statement.

SunSquabi’s Kevin Donohue spoke about the new concert experience in a statement. Read it below:
To be an artist is to take the world that we experience and turn it into something that is beyond our reality. Something that is beyond experience and takes our hearts and minds to a different place. Being unable to share our art with the world in the way that we always have through live shows has been the biggest challenge we have ever faced. But this time has pushed us so far as creators and we are so thrilled to be able to share so many new songs and create a setting where we can all feel it together.
We’re really looking forward to reaching a new level of connection with our fanbase, most notably with the request set and improv night. We’ll be debuting a ton of unreleased music and new ideas we’ve been working on these past few months.
