Exactly 45 years ago today Led Zeppelin burst onto the scene with the release of an eponymous debut album that laid the groundwork for a historic career. Reaction from critics to the LP was tepid, but five decades later songs from that album such as “Good Times Bad Times,” “Communication Breakdown” and “Dazed And Confused” stand among the greatest rock classics. Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, John Bonham and Jimmy Page played small clubs upon the release of Led Zeppelin, though it didn’t take long for fans to pick up on the band’s power and by the start of 1970 they were performing at larger venues such as London’s Royal Albert Hall.

To celebrate 45 years of Led Zeppelin we’re going to point you towards phenomenal pro-shot footage of the band’s Royal Albert Hall performance from January 9, 1970. Over one hour and 45 minutes, the quartet shows why they are considered one of the best live acts in the history of rock. We get to see the whole package from a Bonzo drum solo to a Jimmy Page bow solo to a well-jammed “How Many More Times.” Let’s check it out:

00:27 “We’re Gonna Groove” (James A. Bethea, Ben E. King)
03:40 “I Can’t Quit You Baby” (Willie Dixon)
10:36 “Dazed and Confused” (Jimmy Page)
26:09 “White Summer” (Page)
38:32 “What Is and What Should Never Be” (Page, Robert Plant)
