Stick Figure Joins Sublime On Their 1st New Song In 28 Years ‘Feel Like That’

Sublime released the single, “Feel Like That,” their first new song in 28 years that is the first to feature vocals by late frontman Bradley Nowell and his son Jakob Nowell. Stick Figure’s Scott Woodruff provided additional vocals and production.

“This song came about in an organic way,” Jakob Nowell stated. “My uncles and I always want to collab with artists in different modern music scenes. But hearing my own voice on a track side by side with my dad’s voice really feels like the classic Sublime sound stepping into the modern era. SoCal music is my family’s pride and joy and our family is getting bigger every day. ‘Feel Like That’ captures this new sentiment and we want it to be the first of many. Who wants to join the family next?”

“It’s always great to hear Bradley’s voice, but having Jake’s voice on there makes it even sweeter,” bassist Eric Wilson added.

Jakob Nowell and Sublime’s founding members, Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh, debuted the band’s new lineup at Coachella. The trio will tour extensively over the coming months.

Along with Stick Figure, “Feel Like That” features production by Johnny Cosmic and regular Sublime collaborator Michael “Miguel” Happoldt.

“Sublime is who inspired me to make music, being a part of this track is a full circle moment in so many ways,” Stick Figure stated. “From the vault to the people, this one’s been a long time coming!”
