Sublime was the musical guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday. The band now fronted by late guitarist Bradley Nowell’s son Jakob Nowell delivered their first new song in 28 years, “Feel Like That.”
Sublime’s original surviving members, bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Bud Gaugh, toured and recorded as Sublime with Rome, featuring Rome Ramirez, from 2009 until Rome’s departure in 2023 — though Gaugh left the group in 2011.

But a project under the original Sublime moniker with Bradley’s son Jakob, who was born just 11 months before his father died tragically from an accidental drug overdose in May 1996, was reportedly a longtime goal of Wilson and Gaugh.
Sublime returned to the stage publicly at Coachella earlier this year and subsequently released “Feel Like That” with Stick Figure. Most recently, Sublime stopped by 30 Rock to perform “Feel Like That” on The Tonight Show.
Jakob prefaced the performance by saying, “I love you, Dad. You should be here right now.” Watch Sublime deliver “Feel Like That” on Fallon below:
