[UPDATED] Sturgill Simpson Announces 2020 Tour With Tyler Childers

    Venues for the tour have now been announced.

Sturgill Simpson will hit the road for an extensive 2020 tour with Tyler Childers. The pair’s A Good Look’n Tour spans February 21 – May 24.

Simpson will tour in support of Sound & Fury, an album and anime film released last month. Childers’ latest album, Country Squire, which came out in August, was produced by Sturgill.

The tour is currently set to kick off at Legacy Arena at the BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama on February 21. From there, the pair bring the run to Asheville, Knoxville, Lexington and Detroit over the remainder of February. March dates include stops in Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Duluth (Georgia), North Charleston (South Carolina), Hampton, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Toronto, Columbus, St. Louis, Southaven (Mississippi), Dallas, Austin and Sugarland (Texas).

The April portion of Simpson’s tour with Childers gets underway in Independence, Missouri on April 1. Next comes visits to Chicago, Minneapolis, Omaha, Madison, Tulsa, Denver, Salt Lake City and Missoula. Sturgill and Tyler are currently expected to end the tour in May after performances in Portland (Oregon), George (Washington), San Francisco, Inglewood, Boston, New York City, Nashville and Louisville.

Tickets go on sale to the general public next Friday, November 8 at 10 a.m. local time. A pre-sale will be offered through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan pre-sale. Head here to enter before Sunday, November 3 at 10 p.m. local time. Registered fans who receive a code will get first dibs on tickets starting on Tuesday, November 5 at 10 a.m. local time. American Express cardholders in select markets will then have a chance to purchase tickets between Wednesday, November 6 at 12 p.m. local time and Thursday, November 7 at 10 p.m. local time.
