Sturgill Simpson Shares ‘Vinyl’ Theme Song

This Sunday, February 14 HBO will premiere its new original drama series Vinyl which was created in part by director Martin Scorsese and The Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger. Set in the 1970s and starring Olivia Wilde, Ray Romano and Bobby Cannavale as fictitious record producer Richie Finestra, the show features an original theme song penned and performed by alt-country artist Sturgill Simpson.
Featuring Simpson’s wailing guitar, the theme song titled “Sugar Daddy” has been shared in advance of the series premiere this Sunday. Tune in to HBO at 9 p.m. ET to see the first episode of Vinyl and stream “Sugar Daddy” below:
