Sturgill Simpson Appears On ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’

Country musician Sturgill Simpson appeared on last night’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on CBS. Simpson both performed a song from his recently issued new LP A Sailor’s Guide To Earth and participated in a hilarious skit with the show’s host Stephen Colbert.

Early in the program, Colbert enlisted the help of Simpson and his house band Jon Batiste & Stay Human to premiere their comical new Waffle House-themed song, “No Shirt, No Shoes, No Knuckleheads.” Simpson then returned later in the show with his backing band to offer a rendition of “Brace For Impact (Live A Little)” from the new LP.
