Sturgill Simpson Announces Additional 2016 Tour Dates

Country musician Sturgill Simpson released his third album A Sailor’s Guide To Earth earlier this year. Currently on tour in support of the self-produced LP, Simpson has revealed a number of new concerts as part of his upcoming tour schedule.

After concluding a stateside run throughout the rest of May and into June and a trip to Europe in July, Simpson will make several stops in the U.S. and Canada starting in August and continuing into the end of November. Simpson and his band will appear on August 4 at the Corona Theatre in Montreal, Quebec and they’ll also make appearances in Canada in London, Toronto, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver and Victoria along the way.

Simpson will hold concerts on the East Coast and West Coast and in the Midwest including a show in his home state on September 15 at The Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Currently concluding with a five show run in California starting November 13 at the Cascade Theatre in Redding the tour will wrap following two nights at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, a night at The Fox Theater in Bakersfield and a final night at The Fox Theater in Oakland on November 19.
