STS9 Details April 2026 Tour Dates, Including Rare All-Improv ‘Rave Spell’ Set

STS9 expanded their 2026 tour schedule with two-night runs in New Orleans and Austin. The livetronica quintet announced a pair of late-night performances at New Orleans’ Joy Theatre on April 23 and 24, the first two nights of Jazz Fest. It’s then off to Austin for the band to play ACL Live at The Moody Theatre on April 25 and a “Rave Spell” set at the intimate ACL Live at 3TEN on April 26.

Tribe described a “Rave Spell” set as an “All-improv, high energy dance party” before debuting the concept at the Ravine in Atlanta on December 30, 2019. The pioneering ensemble hasn’t played another “Rave Spell” set since that night, which will change on April 26.

A ticket for STS9’s April 25 show at The Moody Theater is required to purchase a ticket for April 26 at 3TEN. Fans need to select tickets for April 25, and once those tickets are selected, the option to add the “Rave Spell” performance will appear.

STS9 Bandcamp subscribers can grab tickets to all four shows starting on Thursday, December 18 at 9 a.m. CT ahead of an Artist Presale an hour later. General onsales begin on Friday, December 19 at 10 a.m. CT.

Tribe will ring in 2026 with a three-night New Year's Eve run in Chicago. The band will then embark on the Human Dream Tour in support of their newly-released studio album of the same name.
