STS9 Covers Tupac In LA

STS9 brought their tour to The Wiltern in Los Angeles for show last night. The band’s two-set performance was shown as a live webcast presented by Live Nation on Yahoo and featured fitting cover and nod to their current home state.
In the middle of the first set closing “Ramone & Emiglio” the Santa Cruz-based outfit broke into a brief performance of “California Love” by late hip-hop legend Tupac Shakur. It was one of several highlights that took place at The Wiltern, including the lengthy, double-song-sandwich second set opening sequence of “Evasive Maneuvers” > “Modular (Improv)” > “Evasive Maneuvers” > “Kamuy” > “Rockit” > “Kamuy.”
