Talking Heads/Modern Lovers multi-instrumentalist Jerry Harrison’s latest gig was as producer of the new String Cheese Incident album, Song In My Head. Friday night at the Fox Theater in Oakland, SCI welcomed Harrison on keys for a rendition of “This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody)” as well as “Rosie” and “Rev It Up.”

String Cheese Incident’s second of three shows in Oakland also featured the debut of a new original called “Beautiful.” Friday night wasn’t the first time Harrison jammed with the Colorado act, as he sat in on “Life During Wartime” and “Rosie” at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley on July 14, 2012.

Check out our feature on Song In My Head, which is due out on Tuesday. String Cheese Incident close out the three-night stand at Oakland’s Fox tonight.
