The String Cheese Incident Shares Free ‘Stringier Things’ ’80s Covers Compilation

On October 29 The String Cheese Incident played three sets at the Suwannee Hulaween festival at The Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida. Today the band has shared a free compilation featuring five ’80s covers they performed within their second set that day, which was themed Stringier Things and featured a slew of ’80s hits.
The String Cheese Incident was joined by the Antibalas horn section and vocalists Rhonda Thomas and Tony White for their Stringier Things set at Hulaween ’16. Included within the streamable compilation below are takes on Thomas Dolby’s “She Blinded Me With Science,” Billy Idol’s “White Wedding,” Guns N’ Roses’ “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” The B52s’ “Love Shack” and “Burning Down The House” by Talking Heads.
