The String Cheese Incident has shared a free download of Thursday’s “secret” show. Head to LiveCheese.com to download a free MP3 set of “Whibble’s” debut.
Last night The String Cheese Incident played a surprise secret show as part of a special 40th birthday celebration for SCI super fan Chris Gewald. The event took place at the intimate Caribou Room in Nederland, Colorado where the Colorado locals surprised those in attendance by taking the stage under the pseudonym “Whibble” for the first time ever.
The show featured a full slate of old-school SCI for the approximately 250 lucky friends and fans in attendance. Gewald has been a longtime staple of the String Cheese community, and over the years became friends with the band members, even being asked to play the role of Baby New Year at their latest New Year’s Eve show in Broomfield.
