The String Cheese Incident Announces 2017 Thanksgiving & New Year’s Runs

Colorado jam act The String Cheese Incident concluded a three-night stand at Red Rocks in Morrison on Sunday and have started to look towards the end of the year. SCI issued a “Save The Dates” note with plans for runs surrounding Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve.

The String Cheese Incident will play a pair of Thanksgiving Weekend shows at the historic Chicago Theatre in Chicago. SCI’s Chicago Theatre debut is scheduled for November 24 and 25. Then, Cheese will ring in 2018 with a three-night stand at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. Each of the band’s past NYE Runs dating back to 2012 have been held at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colorado. The String Cheese Incident last played the Northeast for New Year’s in 2004, when they performed at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

Ticketing details for both runs are expected to be revealed soon. Stay tuned for a report on SCI’s Sunday show at Red Rocks. Next up for Cheese is a headlining appearance at the Element Music Festival.
