The String Cheese Incident kicked off a two-night run at Dillon Amphitheater in their home state of Colorado on Tuesday night as part of their 25th anniversary tour. The band had a bust out in each set with “Johnny Cash” — last time played April 18, 2018 — coming in the first frame and “Orange Blossom Special” popping up in the second, making its first appearance since Red Rocks 2017.

Classics “Round The Wheel” and “Restless Wind” bookended the first set along with takes on “Johnny Cash,” “Blue Bossa,” “Love Is Like A Train,” “Turn This Around” and “Eye Know Why.” The second set kicked off with “Black And White” into “So Far From Home” followed by “Way That It Goes” and “Until The Music’s Over.” “UTMO” led into “Birdland,” on which the band sandwiched in “Orange Blossom Special” ahead of the second set closer “Beautiful.” SCI encored with Peter Rowan’s “Midnight Moonlight.”
