The String Cheese Incident will broadcast their Horning’s Hideout 2010 finale as this week’s installment of the band’s Friday Night Cheese archival video series. SCI’s August 1, 2010 concert from Horning’s Hideout in North Plains, Oregon airs this Friday, August 28 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on the JamBase Livestreams Calendar via nugs.tv.

Cheese went unplugged for their first set on August 1, 2010 as part of a frame that included guest spots from The Travelin’ McCourys and Col. Bruce Hampton. The band was then joined by guitarist Scott Law for a portion of their second set. Bonus footage from 2012 will air following the 2010 show.

Read a note from The String Cheese Incident regarding this week’s selection:

This week on Friday Night Cheese, we conclude the celebration of the 10 year anniversary of our 2010 Horning’s Hideout Incidents. Horning’s Sunday had traditionally been “Bluegrass Sunday” and this one is extra special as we shared the stage in set one with our friends from The Travelin’ McCourys! If that wasn’t enough, we were also joined by musical hero Col.Bruce Hampton before taking off into the electric realm. We capped off the weekend with a unique, rarity-filled, second set featuring our old friend Scott Law and a nod to Jerry Garcia on his birthday with a touching rendition of “Eyes of the World”.

Stick around after the show for some bonus footage of the 2012 Horning’s “Shebang” set. It’s raw & rowdy, but we think it’s a fitting end to our Horning’s FNC broadcast. Join us Friday at 8pm ET for Friday Night Cheese!
