Colorado’s The String Cheese Incident shared a statement regarding the lack of 2024 shows at the picturesque Dillon Amphitheater in Dillon, Colorado. Traditionally confirmed alongside the band’s annual run at another idyllic venue, this week’s Red Rocks announcement sans Dillon concerts left fans scratching their heads.
SCI took to social media to address the concerns. Read the note below:

The String Cheese Incident, who are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, made their debut at Dillon Amphitheater in 2018 (the same year the newly renovated venue reopened) and returned in 2019. The amphitheater is located in Colorado’s aptly named Summit County and surrounded by stunning peak vistas and an idyllic view of Dillon Reservoir. The band announced their next Dillon and Red Rocks run in early 2020 but had to cancel due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The outdoor amphitheater was a perfect place for SCI to make their headlining return as the world emerged from pandemic lockdowns in Summer 2021. In short, Dillon Amphitheater is a special place for Cheese and their fans.
As is Red Rocks. The String Cheese Incident will make their annual pilgrimage to the iconic Colorado venue July 12 – 14 with a special bluegrass concert featuring Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas and Sierra Hull planned for Sunday.
