The String Cheese Incident shared a new single, “Ain’t I Been Good To You,” an ode to the legendary Bob Marley. The track is set for the band’s upcoming album, Lend Me A Hand, due out on September 8 via SCI Fidelity Records.

The Brad Cook-produced Lend Me A Hand is SCI’s first studio album in six years since 2017’s Believe. The LP is set to arrive just months ahead of the band’s 30th anniversary on December 31. So far Cheese has shared four singles from the album, the title track, tribute to late crew member Jesse Aratow “One More Time,” “Eventually” and now “Ain’t I Been Good To You.”

“Ain’t I Been Good To You” is a simple reggae-styled tune,” bassist Keith Moseley stated. “I came up with the groove and melody and then tried to imagine what Bob Marley might write for lyrics. The song explores a popular theme of love, longing and acceptance, and is a tribute to Bob, one of my all-time musical heroes. I hope you enjoy it!”
