The city of Lincoln, Nebraska hosted five Allman Brothers Band concerts between 1972 and 2012 each featuring a different lineup. On August 31, 2012 the Allmans made their final appearance in the city as part of the “Bluesmaster Concert” and an official recording of the group’s lone set from that night has been shared as a free stream.

The Allman Brothers Band’s 2012 performance in Lincoln featured the last and longest running lineup in the group’s history of keyboardist Gregg Allman, guitarists Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes, drummers Jaimoe and Butch Trucks, bassist Oteil Burbridge as well as percussionist Marc Quinones. All told, the ABB set in Lincoln ’12 contained one classic after another including “Blue Sky,” “Whipping Post,” “Soulshine,” “Midnight Rider” and “In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed” along with “Statesboro Blues,” “Don’t Keep Me Wonderin’,” “Worried Down With The Blues,” “No One To Run With” and “One Way Out.” The free stream below comes courtesy of Munck Music, an online music retailer that counts hundreds of official Allman Brothers Band recordings among its offerings.
