Stream Miles Davis’ Single ‘So Emotional’ Featuring Lalah Hathaway

The latest single from the upcoming posthumous Miles Davis album, Rubberband, is the track “So Emotional” featuring vocalist Lalah Hathaway. The album comes out on September 6 through Rhino/Warner Bros.

Davis recorded the contents of Rubberband while transitioning between Columbia and Warner in the mid-1980s. Those sessions were shelved in place of Davis’ eventual 1986 album Tutu. Co-produced by Davis’ nephew Vince Wilburn Jr. (who also played drums on 1980s sessions) and the record’s original producers Randy Hall and Zane Gile, Rubberband also features Ledisi.
