Sting outlined a new band for an upcoming 2024 North American Fall Tour. The Sting Tour 3.0 gets underway in September and stretches into November.

Bassist Sting will be joined by longtime collaborator Dominic Miller on guitar and drummer Chris Maas (Mumford & Sons, Maggie Rogers). The trio will perform “the most electrifying hits from [Sting’s] timeless discography for multiple-night stints in some of the most legendary theatres across North America,” as per a press release.

Sting is no stranger to the power trio format as a co-founding member of legendary three-piece The Police. The classic Police lineup of Sting on bass joined by guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland released five iconic albums between 1978 and 1983 before disbanding in 1986. Sting reunited with Summers and Copeland for a highly successful world tour early in 2007 that run through August 2008.
