Sting joined The Roots and Jimmy Fallon for a social distancing version of The Police classic “Don’t Stand So Close To Me.” Most performers used At-Home instruments while in quarantine in a similar fashion as the beloved Tonight Show segment Classroom Instruments.

“Don’t Stand So Close To Me” originally appears on The Police’s 1980 album Zenyatta Mondatta. A smash hit in 1980, 40 years later the timeless song is one of those serendipitous examples of a tune carrying a useful message in the coronavirus era.
