Sting :: 3.3.17 :: Aragon Ballroom :: Chicago, IL

Legendary rocker Sting brought his tour in support of the recently released 57th & 9th to the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago on Friday night. Sting was backed by a band that included longtime collaborator Dominic Miller on guitar, drummer Josh Freese and the harmonies of opening act Last Bandoleros. The bassist’s son, Joe Sumner, was also on hand. Sting played for nearly two hours and mixed such Police classics as “Every Breath You Take,” “So Lonely,” “Walking On The Moon” and “Synchronicity II” with solo gems “Fields Of Gold” and “Englishman In New York” as well as seven songs off 57th & 9th. In addition, Sting was joined by his son for a cover of David Bowie’s “Ashes To Ashes.” Check out Dale Foster’s photos from Friday night in Chicago:
