Stevie Nicks returned to Saturday Night Live stage this weekend, four decades after her last appearance on the sketch comedy show. Nicks delivered performances of “The Lighthouse” and “Edge Of Seventeen” as part of an episode hosted by Ariana Grande.

The Fleetwood Mac vocalist wore her signature black dress for her first SNL turn since making her musical guest debut in December 1983. The episode also included a Phish reference in a fake Maybelline ad and a bit poking fun at Oasis during “Weekend Update.”

Stevie Nicks was inspired to write “The Lighthouse,” her first new music in four years, after Roe v. Wade was overturned. SNL marked Nicks’ first live performance of the women’s rights anthem.

“Edge Of Seventeen” was started late due to a technical issue that was quickly resolved. The song is featured on Nicks’ 1981 debut solo album, Bella Donna.
