Steven Adler Performs With Guns N’ Roses For First Time Since 1990

Metal legends Guns N’ Roses brought their “Not In This Lifetime Tour” to Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati on Wednesday night. History was made as Appetite For Destruction era drummer Steven Adler shared the stage with old mates Slash, Axl Rose and Duff McKagan for the first time since April 7, 1990.

Adler emerged towards the end of the set to get behind the kit for “Out Ta Get Me” and “My Michelle.” Otherwise, the show featured a similar setlist to others on the tour featuring career-spanning material and a handful of classic rock covers including a jam on “Waiting On A Friend” by The Rolling Stones. Steven Adler was fired from Guns N’ Roses in July of 1990 for substance abuse issues with his last performance taking place on April 7, 1990 at Farm Aid. While Adler was replaced by Matt Sorum, Frank Ferrer is the drummer on GN’R’s current tour.
