Stephen Colbert Takes Aim At Ticketmaster List Of ‘Free’ Shows

As reported, a recent class action settlement involving Ticketmaster has resulted in the company supplying many of its customers with codes for free concert tickets. Qualifying class members in the Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster Class Action Settlement have had their accounts awarded with vouchers that can be used to purchase tickets to future concert events. On last night’s The Late Show host Stephen Colbert took aim at the list of shows Ticketmaster shared that are eligible for voucher use.
Colbert noted the many tribute acts and underwhelming shows included on the list including Smash Mouth and Guns N’ Roses cover bands. Ticketmaster did add hundreds of shows to the list just before last night’s The Late Show aired however the best of these concerts already display “Voucher Sold Out For This Event” on the list.
