Iconic jazz-rock act Steely Dan will hit the road this October for what currently stands as eight-show fall tour. Last month, Steely Dan played at the inaugural installments of Classic West and Classic East without founding member Walter Becker. Donald Fagen recently told Billboard, “Walter’s recovering from a procedure and hopefully he’ll be fine very soon.”
Steely Dan’s fall tour is scheduled to begin at the River Spirit Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma on October 12. The next night the band will play Thackerville, Oklahoma before bringing the tour to Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 16. Becker and Fagen led the ensemble for a rare visit to Buffalo on October 17 and then cross the border for a pair of shows in Ontario, Canada. Steely Dan are currently slated to end the tour with two concerts in Maryland as they will play Baltimore’s Pier Six on October 24 and MGM National Harbor in National Harbor on October 25.
