St. Louis Cardinals To Host Grateful Dead Tribute Night

Major League Baseball’s National League Central Division leading St. Louis Cardinals have announced a special Grateful Dead Tribute Night in honor of the legendary band’s 50th anniversary being celebrated this year. Busch Stadium will host the club’s Grateful Dead Tribute Night on September 2 when the Cardinals take on the visiting Washington Nationals.
Fans who attend the Grateful Dead Tribute Night at Busch Stadium will receive a specially designed ticket commemorating the band as well as a Grateful Dead St. Louis t-shirt that lists every show the band played in area during their storied career. St. Louis locals Jake’s Leg will also be on hand to perform a pre-game set.
