Squeeze returns to North America late this summer for an extensive tour with Adam Ant and Haircut 100. The cross-continent excursion launches August 16 at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville and wraps on September 27 at Masonic Temple Theatre in Detroit.
Leon Tilbrook swaps in for Haircut 100 at three shows, including the tour opener in Nashville. Squeeze will bring the excursion to Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ontario, Ohio, Virginia, Illinois, Colorado, Utah, Washington, British Columbia, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Kentucky and Missouri over the course of six weeks.
The tour comes in support of Squeeze’s new album, Trixies. Production was handled by the band’s bassist Owen Biddle. Trixies draws from songs Chris Dillford and Glenn Tilbrook first wrote as teenagers.
General on-sales start Friday, May 8 at 10 a.m. local time.
