‘SportsCenter’ Fits In Reference To Ween Guitarist Dean Ween

Last night, the Anaheim Ducks pulled out an overtime victory over the New York Islanders at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. ESPN’s long-running SportsCenter program ran a package of highlights about the show, during which time the host fit in a reference to Ween guitarist Mickey “Dean Ween” Melchiondo.

The game was won with Ducks defenseman Hampus Lindholm’s third goal of the contest. “Mickey Melchiondo is to Ween what Hampus Lindolm is to the Ducks,” said the SportsCenter host. The host then exclaimed, “Dean Ween!” Watch how it went down:
