Austin-based rock band Spoon issued their ninth studio album Hot Thoughts back in March via Matador Records. Today the band has shared a video for the album’s single “Do I Have To Talk You Into It.”
Dave Fridmann co-produced Hot Thoughts, which marked the first Spoon album to be released by Matador since the band’s 1996 debut Telephono. Among the 10-songs making up Hot Thoughts is the track “Do I Have To Talk You Into It” which is featured in the newly shared video created by director Brook Linder whose credits include Beck and Nine Inch Nails.
“Clearly it was time Lou Reed’s ‘No Money Down‘ video was remade for the 21st century,” Spoon frontman Britt Daniel stated. “We did the research, and it turns out 80 percent of our fan base is composed of graphic designers. This one’s for y’all.”
