Spoon Performs On ‘The Late Show With Stephen Colbert’

Last night’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert featured musical guests Spoon. The band was on hand to perform a song from their latest album Hot Thoughts.

In March, Matador Records released the band’s ninth studio album Hot Thoughts, which followed-up their 2014 record They Want My Soul. The new 10-track LP marked a return to the same label that in 1996 issued Spoon’s debut full length, Telephono.

On Thursday’s episode of The Late Show, frontman Britt Daniel led the group through the Hot Thoughts single “Can I Sit Next To You.” Watch the performance below:
