Spoon performed “The Hardest Cut” from their new album, Lucifer On The Sofa on Tuesday’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The band also recorded an online-only bonus mini-set.
The extra session featured frontman Britt Daniel leading his bandmates through the Lucifer On The Sofa track “Wild.” The Austin, Texas-based outfit then delivered “Small Stakes” from their 2002 album Kill The Moonlight. The three-song set concluded with “Inside Out,” which appeared on 2014’s They Want My Soul.
Released last week through Matador Records, Lucifer On The Sofa served as the follow-up to 2017’s Hot Thoughts. The 10-song album was recorded at drummer Jim Eno’s Public Hi-Fi facility in Austin with producer Mark Rankin.
