Spoon Performs On ‘CBS Mornings’

Spoon performed for CBS Mornings weekly “Saturday Sessions” series. The band played songs from their new album, Lucifer On The Sofa.
Spoon released Lucifer On The Sofa, in February. The follow-up to 2017’s Hot Thoughts was recorded in their hometown of Austin, Texas. In March, Spoon released the Wild EP, which included the Lucifer On The Sofa song “Wild” alongside a reimagined version of the song produced by Jack Antonoff entitled “Jack Wild,” an early attempt at the song entitled “Trashy Wild” and a Dennis Bovell dub remix.
For their “Saturday Sessions” appearance, frontman Britt Daniel led the group through “Wild” and fellow Lucifer On The Sofa single “The Hardest Cut.” The band also played “Inside Out” from the band’s 2014 album, They Want My Soul. Watch the performance below:
