Austin-based rock band Spoon will release their studio album Hot Thoughts on March 17. The group has returned to Matador Records for their ninth record that features the lead single and title track the band released today.
Spoon made their debut in 1996 with their lone other Matador release Telephono. Following a number of releases on Merge, the band’s last LP, They Want My Soul, was issued in 2014 via Loma Vista. The band worked with Dave Fridmann to co-produce the 10-track Hot Thoughts.
