Each of the past two years Dutchess County Airport in Wappingers Falls, New York has hosted a one-day musical event called the Speed Of Sound Festival. Organizers of Speed Of Sound have revealed the festival will not be held this year, but they are aiming to bring the event back in 2018.

“Due to some scheduling conflicts (it’s rock ‘n’ roll after all), Radio Woodstock and our sponsors will be skipping this year’s festival in order to bring you an even greater incredible flight experience in 2018,” reads part of the statement from Speed Of Sound organizers. The 2015 Speed Of Sound featured The Avett Brothers, Chris Robinson Brotherhood and more, while last year’s festival was headlined by The Lumineers.
