Spafford Welcomes Jeremy Schon In Baltimore
By Scott Bernstein Oct 11, 2019 • 8:51 am PDT

Spafford was joined by Pigeons Playing Ping Pong guitarist Jeremy Schon for a Men At Work cover on Thursday night. Schon added to Spafford’s rendition of “Down Under” that closed out the group’s second set in Charm City.
The Arizona-based jam quartet kicked off the action with a seamless run of “Red’s Jam” into “Funkadelic” into “Windmill.” Spafford then debuted new original “Ginger Stardust” and ended the first frame with “Plans.” The group opened the second set by working “Dirtbath” into a cover of Bob Marley’s “Exodus,” which bled into “Galisteo Way.” A standalone “Eternity” was followed by Schon’s appearance on “Down Under” ahead of a “America” > “The Reprise” encore.
