Southern Avenue Announces 2017 Fall Tour

Memphis-based blues and soul act Southern Avenue has announced an extensive fall tour. The band will mix headlining shows with dates supporting JJ Grey & Mofro and Spafford over the course of the cross-country run.

Southern Avenue begins September in Charleston, West Virginia ahead of an appearance at the Peoria Blues & Heritage Music Festival. The band has a few festival appearances scheduled for September including two nights at the Big Blues Bender in Las Vegas on the 7th and 8th and their California debut at the Russian River Jazz & Blues Festival on the 10th. After a trip out West, SA heads home for a pair of shows in Tennessee on September 21 and 22.

October finds Southern Avenue opening for JJ Grey & Mofro in Mobile and Baton Rouge before they play the MEMPHO Music Festival in their hometown on October 6. Later in the month, the band joins up with Spafford to open a handful of shows including Halloween in New Orleans. Southern Avenue will also play the Suwannee Hulaween pre-party in Live Oak, Florida on October 26.

The band begins November with more opening slots aboard Spafford’s fall tour. Southern Avenue then hits the Southeast and Texas before they are currently scheduled to end the tour with stops in Kansas City, Topeka and Longmont, Colorado.
