The 2017 Sound Summit festival will be held on September 9 at the Mountain Theater atop Mount Tamalpais in California’s Bay Area. Organizers Roots & Branches Conservancy have confirmed the lineup of acts performing throughout the day at the historic 4000-seat stone amphitheater.
Sound Summit 2017 will find Grateful Dead band mates performing together as headliners Phil Lesh & Friends will be joined by Bob Weir. Also on the Sound Summit slate is Jim James of My Morning Jacket, Jenny Lewis, Preservation Hall Jazz Band and Vetiver.
