Soulive Reveals More Bowlive Guests & Openers

Last night, Soulive began this year’s Bowlive residency at Brooklyn Bowl in NYC with help from special guests Charles Bradley, Tash Neal, Scott Metzger and The Shady Horns. Today, Soulive has announced the addition of more guests and openers for a few of next week’s shows as well as a webcast of Saturday night’s performance.

This coming Tuesday and Wednesday’s performances have been dubbed “The Freak ‘N Soul Revue” featuring Soulive joined by Chris Robinson along with The Extra Shady Horns (Ryan Zoidis, Eric “Benny” Bloom and Cochema Gastelum) plus Alecia Chakour and Sasha Ortiz on background vocals. Lettuce’s Adam Deitch and Adam “Schmeeans” Smirnoff are also aboard for Wednesday night’s show and there’s always the possibility of surprise guests when it comes to Bowlive.

Tuesday night’s show will be opened by Soule Monde, which consists of Ray Paczkowski and Russ Lawton of the Trey Anastasio Band. The High & Mighty Brass Band have been tapped to kick off Wednesday’s show.
