Soul Rebels Perform With Big Freedia, Rakim, Talib Kweli & More At Brooklyn Bowl

New Orleans brass band The Soul Rebels followed a five-show run on the East Coast with Talib Kweli by performing three sold-out shows at Brooklyn Bowl in NYC over the weekend. Each night featured plenty of guests.

The action started on Thursday when The Soul Rebels were joined by special guest Big Freedia. On Friday, The Soul Rebels were aided by Kweli, Buckshot, Smif N Wessun, Kirk Knight, Joey Bada$$ and Big Freedia. Saturday’s finale featured sit-ins from Kweli, Rakim and Nigel Hall. The show and the run came to a close with The Soul Rebels joined by Rakim and Talib for the former’s “Paid In Full.” Watch how it went down:
