Songwriters Hall Of Fame Taps Trey Anastasio, Missy Elliott, Jason Isbell & More To Appear At 2024 Induction Ceremony

The Songwriters Hall of Fame announced Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio, rapper Missy Elliott and acclaimed singer-songwriter Jason Isbell will be among those who will either present and/or perform at the 2024 Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction Gala and Awards Dinner this Thursday, June 13 at New York City’s Marriott Marquis Hotel.

Inductees entering the institution at the 53rd annual ceremony later this week include Steely Dan, R.E.M., Hillary Lindsey, Timbaland and Dean Pitchford. Additionally, SZA will be given the Hal David Starlight Award and Diane Warren will receive the Johnny Mercer Award.

Kevin Bacon and Michael Bacon (The Bacon Brothers), Cary Barlowe, Andra Day, El Debarge, Nile Rodgers, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Deniece Williams and Paul Williams join Anastasio, Elliott and Isbell as those enlisted to present and/or perform at the event. All four founding members of R.E.M. — Bill Berry, Peter Buck, Mike Mills and Michael Stipe — will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on Thursday.
