sombr Shares Resilient New Single ‘we never dated’

Singer-songwriter/producer sombr released a new single, “we never dated,” through Warner Records. The track features additional production from Tony Berg.

sombr is the moniker of 19-year-old New York Native Shane Boose, who began releasing music he recorded in his bedroom while attending LaGuardia High School. Along with issuing a string of successful singles, his debut EP, In Another Life, arrived in 2023.

This year has seen the current Los Angeles resident issue two singles, “back to friends” and “undressed,” along with the latest arrival of “we never dated.” All three songs have been performed live on sombr’s current European Tour. The North American leg of the run of arenas begins in September.
