Nicole York SOJA Lucid Dreams Cover Contest Winner

SOJA brought out Nicole York — the winner of a covers contest held by the reggae roots rockers — during a concert in February at The UC Theatre in Berkeley, California. York accompanied SOJA on a performance of the song she submitted for the covers contest, “Lucid Dreams.”

York joined SOJA frontman Jacob Hemphill in singing “Lucid Dreams.” The track appeared on SOJA’s 2014 album, Amid The Noise And Haste. York’s submission was selected as the top cover overall, defeating finalists in six separate categories.
