The fifth installment of the SnowGlobe Music Festival took place between December 29 – 31 in Lake Tahoe, California. Each day saw approximately 16,000 fans attend the three-day event featuring live music performances by 50 world-class artists, Big Air snowboard and ski showcases in between sets, unique art installations, fireworks displays and more.
Tuesday’s first day of SnowGlobe featured sets from heavy hitters Claude Vonstroke, Jack U (featuring Diplo and Skrillex), Duke Dumont and E-40 as festivalgoers enjoyed art installations in the outdoor Forest Lounge and a variety of hang spaces, including several enclosed heated bars. There was also plenty of music outside the main stage as SnowGlobe’s Sierra Tent hosted artists including Vanic and NGHTMRE, while Justin Martin, Shiba San and others performed the Igloo Stage.

Run The Jewels
On Wednesday, December 30 electronic headliners Chet Faker, Eric Prydz and Kaskade appeared on the main stage while the Sierra Tent hosted the kikes of Cut Copy, Bob Mose, Alison Wonderland, Orphic and Jai Wolf. New Year’s Eve was celebrated with a performance by hip-hop duo Run the Jewels featuring Killer Mike and El-P, alongside other NYE headliners Ghostland Observatory, G-Eazy and Dillon Francis. Producer Emoh Instead’s project What So Not helped ring in the New Year by soundtracking a massive fireworks display triggered after midnight countdown.
